Teaching

Being a teacher of teachers, whose subject matter is teaching, creates tremendous opportunities for introspection on pedagogy.  This personal and professional learning makes teacher education uniquely challenging and incredibly rewarding.  Meaningful and lasting relationships with the teachers I have the opportunity to work with at Hunter enable me to consistently ground my work as a teacher educator with the realities of classroom life. This mutually beneficial interchange depends upon collaboration and prolonged engagement, and these are aspects of teacher education I am passionate about.
